Contrast, Balance, Harmony.

  The Contrast in this photo really stands out because it is in black & white. The contrast really is shown by the difference between the background and the student. The bright white teeth really stand out in this image as it outshines everything else around it. The light that hits the left side of the face directly on the cheek brightens it up and reflects a contrast between the two sides of the face. To me this portrait displays symmetrical balance as the face looks identical on both sides. The only part that could be argued as not being identical could be the raise in one side of the mouth compared to the other.
